Key Implementation Details: Intended to allow users or devices (like security cameras) that generate large volumes of data that don’t need to be processed via cloud compute (i.e. EC2).

Data may be stored then downloaded (or subsets downloaded) to a local environment for future use or processing.

Provides rapid ingress, cost effective storage and egress, with private, secure sharing.

When compute is needed, data is downloaded to cloud compute resource, subset or result set is downloaded to app.
